Mixed-race individuals overwhelmingly supported Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election. But their support was not nearly as strong as that of African Americans.

More mixed-race individuals said they donated money to a candidate or campaign than members of any other demographic. Asians were the least likely to donate money.
